  • Famous Piano Solos, The Willis Music Company, W. M. Co. 10627, Edited/Fingering by R. de Roode. The Op. 90 No. 4 Impromptu is a common member of many anthologies and collections. This collection is one you might find in a garage sale or bargain bin. A small piece of American history, it was printed by The Willis Music Company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. And the “R. de Roode” who edited the Impromptu is Rudolph de Roode, a music professor and land developer based out of Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Holland in 1835, and came to America in 1851… A safe edition with its own quirky history behind it!
